Holding My Novel in My Hands

My final proof of Wings of Shadow arrived in the mail yesterday. I was able to hold my novel in my hands, flip through its pages, and have a taste at that traditional book experience. Renu Sharma did an equally amazing job on the back cover as she did on the front. When I first hired her to design the cover, I asked for the ‘W’ in Wings to actually depict wings. When I received the cover art back, I remember being stunned at the clever faerie wings hiding within all the lettering. Have you noticed them yet? Well, in print, the hidden wings pop off the cover. The back cover depicts one of the many bridges of the Thames (so appropriate given Meghan and Kiernan’s first date.)

I hope you enjoy the paperback version of Wings of Shadow!
